Freelancing doesn’t mean free.
South Africa: My freelance rates (ZAR) are in accordance with the pricing endorsed by the South African Freelancers’ Association (SAFREA). View the report here.
Outside South Africa: All freelance writing has similar equivalent rates in foreign currency (EUR and USD).
Please note that I charge per project using as a baseline a minimum fee per word for feature writing and editing, and an hourly rate for other jobs. Project rate also includes research, fact-checking etcetera.
